Announcing LFS help menu

The Local food Systems (LFS) website is dedicated to supporting and expanding a network of people who are building local and regional food systems in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and beyond.

To that end, Sam Rose and I have developed a "help menu" mechanism for the LFS site that can be accessed from any page on the site.  Clicking on "Help with this page"  on the right hand side of any page opens a page that you can size so that it appears side by side with the appropriate web page.

You will note as well that our help menu includes the more familiar "How" information, but also includes a "Why" and a "Heads up."  The "How" provides the usual guidance for performing actions relevant to the page you are on.  The "Why" information briefly explains the benefits of the page to users' interests.  The "Head up" information alerts you to important individual steps or functions that can be overlooked.

Please browse through and make use of the help menu as you see fit.  We welcome your feedback as part of our commitment to support your on-going local foods interests and work.
