Survey: Majority buy from local farmers

In 2008, Ohioans continued to support local food systems, with the number reporting "frequently" buying locally grown or produced foods remaining steady since 2006.

That's according to the 2008 Ohio Survey of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Issues, a mail survey conducted earlier this year by Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
