Oberlin and Lorain County
Friday, August 5th
3:00-5:00pm
OBERLIN PUBLIC LIBRARY, Main Meeting Room
65 South Main Street
Oberlin, OH 44074
A Community Investment Portfolio (CIP) is a tool for promoting community collaboration and coordination in the development of local food and energy systems.
Join us at the Oberlin Public Library for a rich discussion and dialogue about how a CIP can help to advance the localization of sustainable energy and food systems in Oberlin and greater Lorain County.
The agenda will include:
1) What is a CIP and what can it do?
2) Current status of Lorain County/Oberlin CIP
3) Review of existing assets for food localization in Oberlin and how we can build on them to increase localization efforts
4) Next steps for developing a CIP to advance local food efforts in and around Oberlin and how you can get involved
