Local Roots Market in Wooster is sponsoring a film series in November: "Fresh Foods, Fresh Ideas."

On Saturday, November 21, at 7 PM, Local Roots will host a screening of "PolyCultures" at the Local Roots building at 140 S. Walnut Street.  This locally-produced documentary offers a positive look at what is being done in northeast Ohio to develop stronger local food systems.  Director Tom Kondilas and producer Brad Masi will share further thoughts following the film and take questions from the audience.

Tickets for the film will be $4 (Local Roots members will be able to attend the screening for free with a valid membership card) and will be sold in advance at the Saturday markets (10 AM to 3 PM) at Local Roots, starting October 31.

The film series is sponsored by Farmers State Bank, a local, community bank with offices in West Salem, Ashland, Marshallville, and Rittman.
