This is a copy of a letter from Warren Taylor, of Snowville Creamery;
The Big Industrial Dairy Lobby is about to TAKE AWAY YOUR FREEDOM to
choose local milk bottled by small-scale farmers:
The USDA will decide this Thursday morning, March 26, if they will proceed
to hear formal hearings which attempt to Amend the Federal Milk Market
Order System (FMMOS).
The proposed action will redistribute profits from our pasture-raised farm
to commodity milk producers.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?? Please email new Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsac
and ask him to HOLD OFF on Federal Milk Market System Producer HAndler
proposal hearings UNTIL his new staff is appointed and can CAREFULLY
consider the issues.
