For 43 years the Farm Science Review has been one of the nation’s leading outdoor agricultural trade shows. This year’s event is scheduled for September 22nd through 24th at the Molly Caren Agricultural center near London, Ohio, its location since 1983. The grounds have 2,100 acres of exhibit area, parking, and demonstration plots. The show is coordinated by The Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences along with OSU Extension, and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center. This year’s show is expecting nearly 600 exhibitors as well as displays from state and federal agencies. Depending on the weather, the Farm Science Review annually attracts between 125,000 and 145,000 visitors. Chuck Gamble became the director of the Farm Science Review in July of 2004 after serving for nine years as assistant director. Prior to his work with the Farm Science Review, he served with The Ohio State University Extension Service, and Landmark Cooperative. Chuck is a native of Logan County where he still lives.
